
Daniel Risch
Senior Advisor & former Prime Minister Liechtenstein
Daniel is founder and CEO of t minus 5. Before Daniel Risch served as Head of Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein until April 2025. In this role, he was responsible for finance, digitalization, and the overall organization of the state administration. Previously, from 2017 to 2021, he served as Deputy Head of Government and Minister of Infrastructure, Economy, and Sport. After completing his doctorate in 2007 at the University of Fribourg on the topic “The Use of Customer Profiles in E-Commerce” and a research stay as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Melbourne, Risch worked as a Senior Consultant and Chief Marketing Officer at a leading Swiss e-business service provider. There, he was responsible for marketing, sales, account management, and consulting. From 2015 to 2017, he took on the role of Chief Marketing Officer at Liechtensteinische Post AG, where he focused, among other things, on stabilizing and divesting the foreign e-procurement business. Before his eight-year political career, Risch held various management and supervisory board positions in Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and Germany. In addition, he was a co-founder of what is now Liechtenstein’s largest music festival.
