With over 20 years of international experience in digital transformation and blockchain innovation, Marcus began his career at Accenture, where he led large-scale digital transformation programs across diverse industries and geographies, with a particular emphasis on financial services. An early adopter of blockchain technology, he recognized its transformative industrial potential long before widespread adoption. Since 2015, he has founded startups and advised mid-sized enterprises on integrating agile methodologies, startup culture, and digital innovation into their core operations. He contributed to a project establishing a regulated digital securities exchange under the SEC’s Alternative Trading System (ATS) framework, while also supporting the financing and development of data center infrastructure. As Managing Partner at a Swiss asset manager, he pioneered the integration of digital assets as underlying instruments in institutional-grade financial products. Most recently, prior to his current role, Marcus served as President of Blockchain Markets at a private equity firm, where he led strategic blockchain initiatives in capital markets, with a focus on infrastructure, institutional staking, and innovative financial products. Currently, as Managing Director of Solstice Staking AG, Marcus leads the staking and infrastructure business, overseeing institutional-grade, non-custodial staking operations that secure over $1 billion in assets across thousands of validator nodes, powered by sustainable, banking-grade infrastructure in regulated jurisdictions.
